Check Engine/SH-AWD/VSA and ABS light on (MDX)

By JMc -

I went to start my MDX, I turned the key and pressed the brake to shift out of park. The car threw the following alerts "Check Engine/SH-AWD/VSA and ABS Light On". When I attempted to shift out of park the shifter would not move.
If this sounds familiar or close read further and I will spare you the challenges I faced and get to fix.

Next step: Check to see if your brake lights are working, now test the horn. If either isn't working do the following.
Fix: Open the hood and open the Fuse box to the left of the Battery.

Next Steps: Check fuse #11 "Horn/Stop".  If its broken, replace it.
Tip: Use needle nose pilers instead of the fuse removal tool - tweezers even work better.
